What is ABBA Fund?

ABBA Fund is a non-profit organization that administers interest-free loans to Christian families who want to adopt. Individual churches raise funds for these loans to help offset the cost of adoption, which can be anywhere from $10,000 to $60,000. Couples approved for a loan agree to repay it dollar for dollar (no more, no less) at a predetermined monthly rate. The non-profit handles all the administrative costs.

What is the JAMES 1:27 Adoption Fund?

The James 1:27 Adoption Fund was set up in partnership with ABBA Fund for the purpose of providing interest free loans for eligible Bethel members or regular attendees who are pursuing adoption. ABBA Fund will help provide Bethel with the expertise and administration needed to operate the JAMES 1:27 adoption fund

How Will The Interest Free Loans Work?

Through an interest free loan, adopting families are given a larger amount of money up front but are asked to sign a covenant agreement to repay the loan through monthly or annual payments. The amount of these payments is specific to each family and is determined based upon the amount of the loan and the amount the family is capable of paying each month. The family is able to utilize the Federal Adoption Tax Credit ($13,170/child) in order to repay the loan. The money that is repaid is put back into JAMES 1:27 Adoption Fund creating a self-perpetuating fund

How do you donate to Bethel’s JAMES 1:27 Adoption Fund?
