How to Know with Certainty You will go to Heaven!

There is a way for you to know without a doubt that when you die you will end up in heaven.  Our Heavenly Father, the only true God, has made a special provision for each of us.  This provision, if used, will absolutely guarantee that when you die you will go to heaven. What is this provision?

To answer this question, we will need to begin in the beginning.  The Bible says in the Old Testament Book of Genesis, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."  Now the reason God created the heavens and the earth was so He would have a place to put mankind whom He was about to create.  God who the Bible says is love, desired to have an object for the vast love that He has. He began expressing this love by creating such a breath taking universe; a universe so awesome and huge that scientist yet today have not found the borders of it.  And the sole purpose of this universe was so God could place man in it and show man how lavish His love could be.

Not only did God want an object for His great love, but he also desired to be loved in return.  In order to accomplish this second desire of His, God created man with freewill, the power to direct our own actions without restraint. In other words, God didn't want puppets on a string that would not have the freedom to choose whether to love Him or not. God wanted man to love Him simply for Himself, not because he would have to.

But along with freewill came the ability for man to choose evil, sin. Instead of good.  If man did choose evil, God who is absolutely holy and without sin would not be able to have a relationship with man.  But God wanted us so much that He took this chance.

At first things were really great and the Bible tells us that God would come down from heaven to be with man during the cool of the day.  God and man spent time together, communicating and building a relationship. But man did exercise his freewill and chose sin.  When man chose sin over a relationship with God, God had to brandish man from their relationship.  God cannot have anything to do with someone in sin.

God, who knows everything even before it happens, knew that man would never be able to resist sin.  In His love for mankind, God came up with the provision we were talking about in the first paragraph.  To reestablish the relationship between God and man, some one ,who could represent both sides of this issue, would have to come to earth and live a life completely without sin.  God knew that the only one that had a chance of doing that would be Jesus His son.

So Jesus came to the earth as man. Because of the way He was conceived, He was both God and man.  As man, He was fully capable of sinning.  But because of His great love for God the father, he was able to resist all the temptations that He faced on the earth.  As man's representative before God, Jesus had to pay the full price for our sins.  The price of our sins was death; a cruel painful death, and so He died on a cross for each of us.  Because He had not sinned, death could not hold Him like it could us, and God raised Jesus from the dead.

Jesus is now in heaven as a representative for people before God.  To clear our relationship with God, we have to ask Jesus to be our representative before God.  We have to ask Him to apply the price He paid for sin to our sins.  If we do that then we don't owe God for our sins anymore.  Once we have asked Jesus to pay for our sins, then we can relate to God because of what Jesus did.  Once our sins are paid for by Jesus, we can have a relationship with God almost like Adam had in Genesis.

The Bible is God's love story to man. It records all that God did to set man free from their sins so that He could have a relationship with them again. In the New Testament book written by John, a man who was personally trained by Jesus while Jesus was on the earth, it says, "For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world would be saved through Him."  God is not a God of condemnation, but of love.  His desire is to be able to love us and have a personal relationship with each one of us.  He gave Jesus to die for us, to reestablish our relationship with Him. He gave Jesus to provide us with a sure way of getting to heaven.

If you really want to be sure you are going to heaven, all you have to do is ask Jesus to represent you to God our Heavenly Father.  You do this by acknowledging that you need Jesus' help.  You need to acknowledge that there is no way for you to reestablish a relationship with God because you have sinned.  Ask Jesus to pay the price for your sin by what He did when He died on the cross.

You can do this by simply saying these words; "Jesus, I know that I have sinned.  I ask you to forgive me for those sins.  I know you died on the cross for my sins, and I want you to be my representative before God my heavenly Father, and restore my relationship with Him." That is all it takes.  Jesus will become your representative before God. He will pay the cost of your sins so you won't have to.

If you have recited the words above, you will need to know more about your life with Jesus and the love that God has for you, please contact us.  We would like the honor of teaching you about Jesus and sharing with you the love that God has for you.
